When will my order ship, and when do I get tracking?
Orders placed before 12 PM ET, Monday–Friday are dispatched the same business day. Orders placed after the cutoff, on weekends or on holidays go out the next business day. During big launches and sales, allow up to 1–2 business days for processing.
Your shipment confirmation email includes your tracking number the moment the label is created. Can’t find it? Check your spam or promotions folder, or sign in to your account to see your order status.

Can I change or cancel my order?
We can only change or cancel an order that hasn’t been processed yet — and because most orders ship the same day, that window is short. Email service@gonakedhair.com right away with your order number. Approved cancellations are refunded to your original payment method, typically within 5–7 business days depending on your bank.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Available countries, shipping rates and delivery times are shown at checkout once you enter your address. Any customs duties or import taxes are the customer’s responsibility unless they’re shown as collected at checkout. International orders get the same 15-day return window.

Do you ship to P.O. boxes?
Yes, with Standard shipping only. Expedited and signature-required deliveries need a valid residential, business or hotel street address.

My tracking says delivered, but I don’t have my package. What now?
First, check with neighbors, your building’s front desk or mailroom, and around your delivery area — packages are sometimes left somewhere nearby. Next, contact the carrier directly: FedEx at 1-800-GoFedEx or USPS at 1-800-275-8777. If it still can’t be located, email us with your order number and we’ll help you with next steps.
Please double-check your shipping address at checkout — we can’t be responsible for packages sent to an address that was entered incorrectly.

What is package protection?
Redo Package Protection is an optional add-on at checkout that covers your order if it’s lost in transit and gives you free return shipping if you need to send something back. It doesn’t cover stolen or damaged packages, and packages marked as delivered aren’t eligible for claims. Without package protection we’re unable to refund or replace orders lost after they leave our facility. One claim is allowed per order, and filing a claim doesn’t guarantee approval.

How do I start a return?
Email service@gonakedhair.com before you send anything back — returns that arrive without contacting us first can’t be accepted. Include your name, order number and reason for the return, and put a note with the same details inside the package.
Return shipping is free if you added Redo Package Protection at checkout; otherwise it’s the customer’s responsibility. Original shipping charges aren’t refundable. We strongly recommend an insured, trackable service — especially for anything over $75 — since we can’t be responsible for returns lost on the way to us.

Do you offer exchanges?
We don’t process direct exchanges. Return the unworn item for a refund following the steps above, then place a new order for the length, texture or style you want.

Payments & Security
Accepted payment methods, declined cards and how your details are protected.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard and American Express — plus Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay. The payment options available for your order are always shown at checkout.

Why isn’t my payment going through?
Most declines happen when the billing details don’t match what your bank has on file. Enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your card statement, double-check the card number, expiration date and security code, and make sure your bank isn’t blocking the purchase. Still stuck? Contact your bank first, then reach out to us.

Why did Customer Care contact me to verify my order?
For your protection, some orders — including orders over $500 — may need a quick verification before they ship. If that applies to your order, our Customer Care team will reach out by email. Replying promptly keeps your order moving.

Is my card information safe?
Yes. All transactions are processed through Shopify’s encrypted checkout, and GoNaked Hair never sees or stores your full card number. You can choose to let Shop Pay remember your card for faster checkout next time.

Is GoNaked Hair 100% human hair?
Yes. Every bundle, closure, frontal, wig, clip-in, tape-in and bulk hair product we sell is 100% human hair — no synthetic blends, no fillers.
Copy link to this answer
What’s the difference between virgin hair and raw hair?
Virgin hair is 100% human hair that has never been chemically colored, permed or relaxed, with the cuticles intact and running in one direction. Its textures are set so the pattern is consistent from bundle to bundle.
Raw hair is completely unprocessed — no steam, no chemicals — and sourced from single donors, so it keeps its natural pattern and luster. It’s our most premium quality and the base for our hand-painted glueless wigs.
Shop virgin bundles or raw bundles.

Which texture is right for me?
If you’re doing a sew-in with leave-out, match your natural texture so everything blends. If you’re fully covered (a closure, frontal or wig), choose based on the look and the upkeep you want:
- Straight & Body Wave — the lowest maintenance and the most versatile.
- Wavy & Deep Wave — more volume; refresh with water and leave-in.
- Curly & Kinky Curly — big definition; needs daily moisture.
- Kinky Straight — a blow-out texture that blends with relaxed or pressed natural hair.
Can I color, bleach or heat style the hair?
Yes — it’s human hair, so you can flat iron, curl and color it. Always use a heat protectant, keep tools at medium heat, and avoid heat on wet hair. For color, we strongly recommend a licensed stylist: lifting dark hair to light blonde is a big process and can loosen curl patterns. Lighter colors and soft balayage hold up best.

Will the hair shed or tangle?
A little shedding is normal with any human hair, especially during the first few washes. To keep it minimal, seal your wefts before install (a weft sealant works great), don’t cut the weft, detangle gently from ends to roots, and keep the hair moisturized — dry hair tangles. Most tangling starts at the nape, so give that area extra conditioner.

How long does GoNaked Hair last?
With proper care, our hair can last up to a year — and many customers reuse their bundles for multiple installs. Raw hair typically lasts the longest. How long yours lasts comes down to maintenance: sulfate-free products, heat protection and satin at night make the biggest difference.

Bundles & Lengths
Figure out how many bundles to buy and which lengths get you the look you want.
Bundle calculator
3 bundles
2 bundles for a natural look, 3 for full volume.
| Length | With closure / frontal | No closure |
|---|---|---|
| 10"–20" | 2–3 | 3 |
| 22"–24" | 3 | 4 |
| 26"–32" | 4 | 4–5 |
Each bundle is 4 oz. Longer lengths = fewer wefts per bundle.
Length chart
18" falls at the bust
Measured with the hair pulled straight. Body Wave falls about 1" shorter; Deep Wave, Curly and Kinky Curly 2–4" shorter.
How many bundles do I need?
It depends on your length and how full you want it. Our rule of thumb:
- Under 22" — at least 2 bundles; 3 for a fuller look.
- 22" and longer — at least 3 bundles.
- 26" and longer — 4 bundles with a closure or frontal for real fullness.
Every bundle is 4 oz. Because bundles are sold by weight, longer lengths have fewer wefts — a 30" bundle has noticeably less track than a 24" — so long installs need an extra bundle. Doing a sew-in without a closure or frontal? Add one more. The calculator above does the math for you.
Copy link to this answer
How do I choose the right length?
All lengths are measured with the hair pulled straight, from the weft to the tips. Wavy and curly textures will look shorter once the pattern takes shape — about 1" shorter for Body Wave and 2–4" shorter for Deep Wave, Curly and Kinky Curly. Use the length chart above to see where each length falls.
Mixing lengths (like 18" / 20" / 22") gives a natural, layered finish — that’s exactly how our Bundle Deals are built.

Closures & Frontals
Closure vs. frontal, lace sizes and HD vs. transparent lace — side by side.
Lace sizes — top view
- 2x6 Closure Sharp, deep middle part
- 4x4 Closure The classic middle or side part
- 5x5 Closure More parting room, used on our glueless wigs
- 6x6 Closure Wider part space, fuller top
- 7x7 Closure The most parting freedom in a closure
- 13x4 Frontal Ear-to-ear hairline, part anywhere 4 in. back
- 13x6 Frontal Ear-to-ear and 6 in. deep for deep side parts and slick-backs
What’s the difference between a closure and a frontal?
A closure is a square or rectangle of lace that sits at the top of your head where you part your hair — 2x6, 4x4, 5x5, 6x6 or 7x7 inches. It’s lower maintenance and easier for beginners.
A frontal runs ear to ear along your whole hairline (13x4 or 13x6), so you can part anywhere, wear it pulled back and show off edges. It takes a little more skill to install and maintain.
Copy link to this answer
Which closure size should I get?
The first number is the width across your head and the second is how far back the lace goes. A 4x4 is the classic middle or side part. 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7 give you progressively more parting space and a fuller, more natural top. A 2x6 is narrow but deep — perfect for a sharp middle part.

What’s the difference between HD lace and transparent lace?
HD lace is ultra-thin and nearly invisible, so it melts into every skin tone with minimal effort. It’s also more delicate, so handle it gently.
Transparent lace is slightly thicker and more durable, with a light tone that blends easily with lighter-to-medium skin tones — tint it to match deeper tones. Both give you a natural hairline when installed well.

Which type of wig is right for me?
Glueless wigs are the easiest way to get a natural lace look without adhesive. Lace front wigs give you an ear-to-ear hairline and the most styling freedom. Closure wigs are low maintenance and protective. Headband wigs have no lace at all and go on in under a minute. New to wigs? Start with glueless or headband.

What does “glueless” mean?
A glueless wig is built to stay secure without adhesive — it uses an adjustable elastic band and combs inside the cap. Our glueless wigs feature a 5x5 HD lace closure, so you get a natural-looking part with a quick, damage-free install.
Copy link to this answer
What cap size are your wigs?
Most of our wigs have a Medium cap (22.5") with an adjustable strap, which fits the majority of heads. To measure, wrap a soft tape measure around your head from your front hairline, just above your ears, around the nape of your neck and back to the start. Each product page lists its exact cap details.
Copy link to this answer
What does wig density mean?
Density is how much hair is on the cap. 150% looks natural and feels lightweight — great for everyday wear. 180% is fuller and more glamorous, like our balayage glueless wigs. The higher the density, the more volume (and weight).

Are your wigs pre-plucked with bleached knots?
Our glueless balayage and ombré wigs come with bleached knots and a custom single-knot ventilated hairline for a seamless finish right out of the box. Details vary by style, so check the product description for each unit. A little extra plucking and tinting to match your skin tone always takes a hairline to the next level.
Copy link to this answer
Tell me about your colored glueless wigs.
Our balayage and ombré glueless wigs are professionally hand painted by a hairstylist on 100% raw human hair, so every unit has real depth and dimension. Keep the color rich by using a color-safe, sulfate-free shampoo, rinsing in cool water and limiting heat. We don’t recommend lightening them further at home.

Can I sleep, work out or swim in my wig?
You can, with a little care. Sleep in a satin bonnet or on a satin pillowcase, and store your wig on a stand or in a satin bag when you’re not wearing it. After swimming, rinse chlorine or salt water out right away and condition. Take your wig off regularly to clean your scalp and let your lace breathe.

Care & Styling
The routine that keeps your hair soft, shiny and lasting up to a year.
The GoNaked care routine
- DetangleWide-tooth comb, ends to roots
- WashSulfate-free, in a downward motion
- Deep conditionMoisture is everything
- Air dryBlot — never rub
- ProtectHeat protectant before hot tools
- Satin at nightBraid or twist, then wrap
Up to 12 months of wear with this routine.
Do I need to prepare my bundles before install?
Yes — just like your natural hair, bundles look best freshly cleaned. Co-wash them before your install, then deep condition: leave a moisturizing conditioner on for a few hours (a plastic cap and a little gentle heat help it absorb). Let the hair air dry completely before sewing it in.
Copy link to this answer
What products should I use?
Keep everything sulfate-free — harsher products strip human hair. Our go-to kit:
- Sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner
- A leave-in conditioner (a must for wavy, curly and colored hair)
- A curl-defining mousse for wavy and curly textures
- Heat protectant before any hot tool
- A lightweight oil or serum for shine on the ends
How often should I wash my hair or wig?
Wash sew-ins every 7–10 days, or whenever you notice buildup. Wigs need a wash about every 10–14 wears, or sooner if you use a lot of product. Always detangle before washing, wash in a downward motion, and let the hair air dry whenever you can.

How do I keep waves and curls defined?
Refresh with a spray of water and leave-in, then scrunch — never brush curls when they’re dry. At night, braid, cornrow or two-strand twist the hair and cover it with satin. It keeps the pattern defined and gives you fresh, new waves in the morning.
