GoNaked Hair was founded in 2013 by Porsha Williams and her sister, Lauren, on one belief: a woman's confidence is tied to how she feels about her hair. So we only sell hair we would wear ourselves — 100% human, virgin or raw, never blended.

The founders
Two sisters. One standard.
Early in her run on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Porsha Williams took part of a paycheck from the show and put it toward a problem every woman who wears extensions knows: paying luxury prices for hair that sheds, tangles and gives up after a few weeks.
She and her sister Lauren spent a year and a half testing hair from vendor after vendor, as their own customers, before GoNaked sold a single bundle. Anything that didn't hold up didn't make the cut.
That's still the test. Every texture on this site has to be something we'd put on our own heads.

Who founded GoNaked Hair?
GoNaked Hair was founded in 2013 by Porsha Williams of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her sister, Lauren Williams. They spent 18 months testing vendors before launching.
Does Porsha actually wear GoNaked Hair?
Yes — on camera and off. Cynthia Bailey and Drew Sidora wear it too, and each designed collab wigs with us. See their reunion looks or shop the collabs.
The hair
Is GoNaked Hair 100% human hair?
Yes. Every bundle, closure, frontal and wig we sell is 100% human hair, either virgin or raw. No synthetic blends.
What's the difference between virgin and raw hair?
Virgin hair has never been dyed, permed or bleached, and gives you the most quality per dollar. Raw hair is unprocessed and kept as close as possible to how it grew, so it lifts and tones the cleanest and stays in rotation longest.
How many bundles do I need?
For lengths under 22", plan on two bundles, or three for a really full look. For 22" and longer, start at three. Bundles are sold by weight, so longer lengths have less track.
Porsha's own rule: at least four bundles for anything 26" and longer, plus a frontal or closure.
How long does the hair last?
Up to a year with proper care. Wash with sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner, use a heat protectant before hot tools, and sleep on satin.
Can I color or bleach it?
Yes, but we strongly recommend a professional colorist. Raw hair lifts the cleanest. Want color without the risk? Shop our hand-colored glueless wigs.
How much does a bundle weigh?
Every bundle is 4 oz.

How fast will my order ship?
Orders placed before 12 PM ET on a business day usually leave the same day; at peak volume, processing can take 1–2 business days. After that, standard shipping takes 2–3 business days and expedited takes 1–2.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping is $5.99 and expedited is $19.99. Economy shipping is free on orders of $300 or more. Full details in our shipping policy.
What is your return policy?
Uninstalled hair in its original packaging — unprocessed, with weft and length uncut — can be returned within 15 days of delivery. Please contact us before sending anything back; return shipping is free with Redo Package Protection and otherwise paid by the customer. Read the full refund policy.
